Position: Technical Resources Technologist

Rate: Starting wage is $44.02 per hour

This position responsible for providing technical support and execution to the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) project on Outage Management System (OMS). This position will also work closely with System Operation to provide on-going support and maintenance for the current Outage Management System application.

What You Get to Do:
Typical duties may include but are not limited to:

• Produce, edit, analyze and model Outage Management data specific to the team function.
• Prepare and submit reports and/or analysis in an accurate and timely manner for monthly, quarterly, annual and other special reports as required by System Operation.
• Gather data and coordinates schedules for various audits.
• Test and facilitate field implementation of ADMS/OMS hardware and software.
• Provide technical support and assistance that are required specific to or outside of the team function or department.
• Participate in project planning meetings, stakeholder engagements, requirements gathering, and acts as liaison with internal groups.
• Develop and maintain operational policies, practices and procedure.
• Assist with developing training materials and deliver training to end users.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a post-secondary technology diploma in a Electrical, Computer or Networking from a recognized Canadian institute of technology
• May be required to attain registration with A.S.E.T.
• 2-5 years of related experience working in System Operation supporting Outage Management System, GIS, Scada and programming (Python, Shell)

Note: Applicants with a post-secondary technology diploma in a related discipline from a recognized Canadian institute of technology and 0 - 2 years of experience may be considered, and if successful, will be placed at the appropriate salary level.
