This is a hybrid position based out of our Toronto Support Centre. Reporting to the Director of Information Systems, this is an exciting opportunity to augment your current skills, as well as learn new technologies.

In this role, you will

• Provides data analysis and programming support for the development of new BI applications and enhancement/maintenance of existing custom and packaged applications.
• Research complicated data analysis problems. Work with technical and business subject matter experts to define design specifications and technical solutions.
• Translates user requirements into production quality dashboards
• Identifies system inadequacies and efficiencies and recommends improvements.
• Presents systems solutions to clients and stakeholders, both verbally and in written form to gain consensus for new solutions, enhancements, and problem fixes.
• Participates in the development and design of dashboards standards and methods.

What we're looking for

• 3 to 5 years work-related experience in Business Intelligence and data analytics
• 3 to 5 years knowledge of Power BI/Tableau
• Strong communication skills
• Ability or willingness to learn and write basic SQL queries to manipulate data
• Ability or willingness to use scripting language for data manipulation tasks; Python, R etc.
• Natural Problem Solver
• Strong Business Acumen
