Interior Health has an opportunity for a Term Specific Full Time Strategic Business Analyst position!
This is a term specific position that is set to end on March 31, 2024.
What Will You Work On:
The Strategic Business Analyst, P3 Operations will be responsible for operationalizing and overseeing Facility Management (FM) oversight processes. Builds reports and creates models and analyses to support the day-to-day operations of the department. The Strategic Business Analyst, P3 Operations is responsible for ensuring a strong integration of data inputs, processes and policy with financial/contractual information and reporting. The Strategic Business Analyst will work closely with selected managers to ensure the oversight framework is implemented in a reasonably standardized way yet is customized to the portfolio to ensure viability.
Some Typical Responsibilities of this Position Include:
1. Work with Managers to implement process change, by operationalize rigorous FM Oversight processes.
2. Generates financial and statistical information for analysis and distribution.
3. Performs quantitative, qualitative and exploratory data analyses to ensure effective and efficient FM Oversight implementation.
4. Interprets and translates analysis into clear, easily understood findings and insights.
5. Builds, modifies and creates recurring and ad hoc reports using disparate data sources and large volumes of detailed data.
6. Prepares FM Oversight Data Summaries for monthly reporting cycles.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a candidate who has initiative and accountability. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and have the ability to influence without having direct authority. Having the ability to read and interpret complex contracts is considered an asset. We are looking for a candidate who is strong with data and has knowledge with Facility Management and or Plant Services.

- A Bachelor’s degree and/or a CPA, other relevant designation, or currently working towards completion.
- One to three years of experience relevant to the duties of this position.
- Public Private Partnership contract experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. Knowledge of documentation management systems, such as Aconex, is an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
