Senior IT Business Analyst (Hybrid) Job at E-Comm 9-1-1

As a result of ongoing growth, we are seeking a dynamic and talented Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough analyses of business requirements and translating them into technical specifications, using a structured business analysis approach for each initiative. You will work closely with key stakeholders to identify business needs and gather detailed requirements, develop project plans, analyze as-is and to-be states, prepare a variety of documentation and providing on-going support for services, programs and enterprise applications.
With a focus on relationship management, you will work in close collaboration with key stakeholders and partners, managing interactions with various groups whilst problem solving numerous issues at the same time.
We are looking for someone with an analytical mindset who can determine business and technical requirements, define solutions, identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What you will need:
- Completion of a university degree or diploma in computer science, engineering or business with a technology focus, plus sound related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Certificate in business analysis from the IIBA or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) will be considered a definite asset
- 7 years’ experience in an IT Business Analyst or similar role
- Certification in ITIL or similar service delivery framework is preferred
- Required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained

Security Requirements:
- As a condition of employment at E-Comm, the required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained. This is a process carried out by our law enforcement partner agencies, facilitated by E-Comm. The minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position, as established by our law enforcement partner agencies, is 3-5 years.
- To qualify for this process, a candidate may either be a Canadian Permanent Resident [PR] or Canadian Citizens. We regret any candidates under Student, Visitor, or Work Visas are not eligible for consideration.
